Joanne’s Tip – Use Organic whenever possible – Dates and coconut oil are bursting with nutrients for energy and vitality. Cutting the dates small takes an extra few minutes but it’s worthwhile for a sweeter mix. Melt the coconut oil to a liquid if it is solid – see below how to melt it for healthcare. For health, no microwave is used as it depletes the nutrition of foods. Use buckwheat flour to make it for a difference as it’s good stuff.
To melt the oil, use a bowl that is quarter filled with hot water and place a cup with the measured amount of solid coconut oil into it – solid coconut oil when it is melted is around the same measurement, depends on the brand. Stir it frequently until it becomes a liquid. It happens fairly quickly. Enjoy the cookies with a healing warm organic herbal tea.
